Lilia Morgan Senior Session, my last senior session of 2025 graduates!
I have to start off with this client is Heaven sent from the Lord himself!
Her session was originally scheduled for April 23rd. Upon arriving the weather took a turn, and completely out of no where. We both had been checking the weather all day and no where did it say rain was in the forecast that day. Well, we arrive for the session and at first it was just a drizzle, so we start with some indoor photos, I swear as soon as we stepped in side we look out the window and it’s POURING rain. Lilia was a fashion student at Belmont University, because we got rained out I offered to continue shooting indoors and for her to do outfit changes to spotlight some of her favorite handmade outfits. Her work is so beautiful you best believe I’ll be her first customer when her designs hit the market!
Me being me, I of course was like we gotta reschedule to get you true senior photos. Well, the weather was against us 3 or 4 times rescheduling, I legit lost count. Every time we rescheduled a random down pour of rain would come in, finally I was determined to get this finished for her.
Sunday May 11th was it, we had the opportunity to meet on Mother’s Day…. Of course the OG time was calling for rain so we rescheduled for 10am, the last rescheduling. THANKFULLY FINALLY, it was a beautiful partly cloudy and warm day.
I typically always go above and beyond for my clients, but she was special, never once did she show frustration in rescheduling or no longer wanting to do the session. She pushed through alongside me. When a client goes above and beyond for me even if it’s simply understanding, you best believe I’m going to pull through for them too. All together, from the indoor and outdoor shoot we spent 3ish hours together and her gallery received over 250+ photos. My 1 hour sessions are typically a minimum of 60+ photos to give you an idea.
I am so happy we finally got this session done and that I was able to over deliver for her and give her the best experience possible given the crazy circumstances.
The result was well worth the wait, just simply beautiful! Below are a few of my absolute favorites from both indoor and outdoor.
To Lilia:
Thank you so much for being the amazing human you are, for understanding each and every rescheduling, for never giving up and working with me at every turn. Thank you for trusting me with this huge life moment. Lastly, a huge congratulations on graduating, I can’t wait to see you excel in the fashion world.
